Membership Fees:
Regular Members $80
Seniors (65 or older in the current season) $55
Spares $55
Fee includes the cost of the annual banquet and entry into the club tournament
Registration takes place each year around the first week in April, the time and place, will be announced each year when the spring letters are sent out to all current members. Anyone wishing to join the club should contact the President by emailing [email protected]. After making contact a letter of introduction to the club will be sent, along with the spring letter, which contains, up to date news, registration forms and map to our club and the Awards/Banquet.
Play begins on the first Tuesday in May and finishes twenty-one weeks later.
The twenty- first week is a playoff night, it is a double round robin within your own division. This is a wrap up to the season and is for prize money only and does not affect the regular standings.
Games are on the point system, “A” division games are 30 points, “B” & “C” 25 points and “D” 21 points. We play 8 games per night and the team with the most points win. At the end of the year the teams with the most points within their division, are declared the champions.
The Awards / Banquet is held in the fall and awards will be handed to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each division. The most improved player based on his last year’s average will receive the Elwood Pembleton Award. The player with the highest average for one night over his final average, will receive the Glen Barton Award. Other awards handed out, not necessarily each year, are the President’s Award and the Jack Savery – Cecil Churchill Award. (See Special Awards)
